The IP3 combines a powerful computer, two-way satellite communications over the gold-standard Iridium network, flexible I/O and on-board memory, and a low total cost of ownership to deliver a solution that will evolve as our customers do.

Our unit has Long-Life Unpowered Satellite and Communication Every 15 Minutes with No Battery Changes.

The IP3 on battery power alone can transmit via satellite up to every 15 minutes round-the-clock for 7 to 10 years, using a hardened industrial plastic-encased solar panel and rechargeable battery to eliminate the high cost of constant battery changes in the field on a large fleet.

Users do not need to touch the unit after deployment for 7- to 10 years (depending on usage patterns). The power system accommodates transmission at a user-programmable rate up to every 15 minutes using the built-in solar system for energy harvesting with no impact on the battery and no need for a battery change for the lifetime of the device. Outbound commands to the unit can be received any time day or night for the life of the unit.

The unit comprises of self-power sensors as well, so no additional off-board power sources are required the total system including accessories is completely self-contained and stand-alone
