Collection Officer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contact clients/customers via phone calls to follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections.
- Manage and update customer account information in the system.
- Perform invoice verification and analysis to resolve discrepancies and track overdue accounts.
- Record accurate and complete data entries of communication, payment commitments, and collection outcomes.
- Respond to customer queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Generate collection reports and maintain daily logs.
- Assist in streamlining the collection process for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and data confidentiality guidelines.
SKILLS:
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of spoken Urdu and English.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and invoice management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other data entry tools.
- Ability to handle client objections and negotiate payment terms.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in customer support or collection will be an added advantage.
QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in collections or customer service preferred.
