HR Training Session – Email Etiquette
9th April, 2022: iTecknologi Group of Companies considers the training and development of all employees as the cornerstone and an indispensable way of company’s growth and prosperity.
As a part of the HR initiative for employee training and development, this week’s session was conducted on ‘Email Etiquette’. The session emphasized on the importance and significance of email to streamline communication in an effective, efficient, and concise manner.

In this age of rapidly changing technology, email is the preferred and frequently used means of workplace communication. However, many firms fail to implement the etiquette framework that should be in place when utilizing this vital corporate communication tool. Email etiquette is necessary because it speaks volumes about an employee, employer, or any business contact especially when writing email to someone for the first time.
The session aimed at providing techniques for crafting effective emails and reflected on rules that dictate what is and isn’t appropriate when sending email correspondence. Having a clear subject line, appropriate greetings, avoiding grammatical errors & abbreviations, brief content and avoiding reply all, are some of the email etiquettes that were highlighted to assist employees in making email communication and team messaging more direct, concise, and impactful.
