iTecknologi Group Celebrated World Blood Donor Day 2022
World Blood Donor Day is observed on 14 June every year across the world to raise awareness of the need for safe blood and blood products and to thank voluntary, unpaid blood donors for their life saving gifts of blood.
On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, iTecknologi Group of Companies in collaboration with Indus Hospital organized a blood donation drive to recognize and promote the values of voluntary unpaid blood donation in enhancing community solidarity and social cohesion. We acknowledge and thank all our employees who came forward and contributed to this act of solidarity.
The need for blood is universal, but access to it is limited especially in low- and middle-income countries. Becoming a regular voluntary blood donor is a simple but selfless step that we can take to strengthen our communities, support local health systems and save lives.
